"Outstanding Kitchen Design and Installation from EKB – We recently engaged EKB to design/install an all-new kitchen in a building extension. We couldn’t have made a better decision and have no hesitation in fully recommending Peter and all his excellent team. After preliminary discussions with several kitchen designers/installers, we reduced these to a short list of three. With these we further explored their designs and installation. Although the themes and pricing were similar, once we got into the detail more differences became apparent. "Trust your kitchen refurbishment to Essex Kitchens & Bedrooms - I felt very at ease meeting with Corinne in the showroom and then Peter visiting me at home, as they both actively listened to what I wanted from a new kitchen. Peter produced designs that together we revised several times before he provided me with a detailed quote, for a complete refurbishment. Then together with Corinne, at my pace I chose doors, colours, worktops, and flooring, and all the other small details. I never felt overwhelmed by all the choices, as I felt supported by her expertise and experience. I took samples home and at no point did I feel under pressure to make a quick decision. Peter provided ample storage boxes to pack away my kitchen, and also a small oven with hob, which helped be organised during the work. Peter and Dean started on the date agreed and worked tirelessly each day explaining every step of the process. Always friendly, polite, calm, courteous and respectful of working within my home. Step by step my space went from a shell to the kitchen I had imagined and had seen in Peter’s drawings. "New bedroom wardrobes, replacing ensuite - Refurbish Study with desk and storage - Visited showroom, discussed with Peter our requirements, he did an on-site visit and offered a few helpful suggestions. He measured up and his quote was received promptly. We viewed the CAD drawings in the Showroom and finalised layout and colours. A start date was agreed and Peter and Dean, his son, arrived as scheduled. They were very professional, and nothing was too much trouble, they kept us informed as to their progress and were prepared to make any adjustments we requested. They were able to undertake all the installation, electrical work, plumbing and plastering even adjusting our carpets to fit! Work was completed to a very high standard. Despite our request for changes to be made to the installation the price remained as quoted. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and would certainly use them again.
